well they said they're releasing demo this weekend, and i remember for fm11 demo - it was released earlier on steam

"The Football Manager 2012 PC and Mac demo is available to download now from Steam, Sega has announced.
You can play the first half of the 2011/2012 season and carry on your career when the game launches later this month.
The demo includes QuickStart leagues England, Scotland, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Australia.
The demo is only available on Steam. As revealed last month, to play Football Manager 2012, you need to authenticate through Valve's digital service."

Some problems are caused by BitDefender. I placed the FM.exe in the BitDefender exceptions list and all is now well.
