I'm struggling to get the best out of my squad and I need help.

So here's my squad. When I first got FM16 I scored tons and tons and tons of goals in my first season. But ever since then my players haven't lived up to the same performance. I understand, in football plays can't maintain the same quality season per season, but some of my players are hitting their prime and I cant get the best out of them and it's really frustrating. My player's attributes have dramatically improved since I took charge. I tried a plethora of tactics, instructions, and roles, but nothing works out well for me. Anyone got any idea on what I should do? I encounter so many problems where my striker and winger fails to finish multiple 1 on 1 chances with acres of open space and at a decent space from the keeper. It's rather frustrating.
