Hip-hop star Nate Dogg has died at the age of 41.
The rapper, whose real name was Nathaniel D. Hale, is believed to have passed away on Tuesday, March 15.
Nate was famous for his collaborations with hip-hop stars such as Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and Dr Dre, in total he contributed to 40 chart singles.
The cause of his death in not yet known, however Nate suffered a stroke in 2007 and another one the following year.
Since news has spread of Nate's death, numerous celebrities have taken to Twitter to pay their respects.
In a stream of tweets, Snoop Dogg wrote: "We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb. One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at poly high where we met....
