Hi new member just started off on FM 2009

As i well know and have read in previous topics Tranmere Rovers are "the yoyo team" in league 1.

As i live local to this club(10mins) I have chosen this team for a challenge.

There may not be no quick solution but with a transfer budget of 100k and a wage budget of approx 29.5k

Does anyone have any long-term ideas as i do have patience with the game.

Just don't do anything stupid with your money. Invest in youth players and bring in some experienced players on free's.

Sefyo Soley - Free
Marino Promes - Free
Freddie Ljungberg (he's like 30k or something)
Lubos Kalouda (if you can raise the cash through premiership friendlies)
James Chester - on loan - Man Utd
Rodrigo Pose'bon - loan - Man Utd
John Ruddy - loan - Everton
Jeremy Bokila - Free

Sell like the dead wood too, then think to invest on the transfer market on any championship reserve players, or increase your wage budget to get better players on a free

you can do a lot in league 1 with 100k

look for players in prem reserve teams, and offer less than they ask... if they want to offload they will genereally accept.

but as said above, look for a few good youngsters and get a good training schedule, then wait it out in that league for a few years.... its a great league to develop youngsters in
