Yeah I think it's a serious problem. It's realistic though, with the Spanish economy in the proverbial crapper the small teams are gonna really struggle. I've signed some good young players and sold them on, but realistically you are not gonna get more than 1m for a player (the most I've sold...
If you offer a lowish bid to Udinese (I'd say less than half their value) they might negotiate and you get an idea of what it'll cost.
To be honest though if it bothers you that much and your a casual player you can always save it before the blind auction, then reload and offer the same amount...
You can't....that's why it's called "Natural" Fitness :)
It's like in real life how some players always struggle for match fitness after being out a while and other don't, it's just who you are you.
Hi,
Is it possible to set automatic opposition instructions? For example I would like to force all players with "Right Foot Only" to their weaker foot. Or "always close down" players with say >15 passing or <12 dribbling. Or tackle hard players with <10 bravery....etc
I am getting a bit fed up...
Have you thought about giving Grant Thmae the nickname "Grant Thame" then it will just be as if you spelled it right :) Also I suggest referring to Jesus as a utility player or midfielder, I imagine it'll get quite annoying writing out DC/DM/MC/AM everytime :)
The answer to the original question is calm down, he's just signed for a new team, 7 goals and 4 assists isn't that bad, especially if Forlan has scored a few. You do need to play to his strengths, but let him settle into the team and he'll be fine
That's what I had in mind, figured 170 was worth a try tho ;)
EDIT: Also I have no idea how this works, presumably you create these players in the database, then do a holiday game and report on their careers? and BaP stands for be a player? Sorry I couldn't find this on google as BaP comes up...
Beligum is my personal favourite league for that kind of thing. I'm not 100% sure on the rules cos I don't have the belgian leagues loaded up, but it's something like must have 6 home-growns in the match day squad. Which means you can pick a completely foreign starting 11 if you want, but it...

On FM it's almost always better to have several good players, and rotate so you're playing the players in the best condition on that day, and can make a sub if one of them isn't playing well.
Try engaging in a bit of stock exchange....buy young cheap players with the intention of loaning them out and eventually selling them. This can make you a huge profit, get a wide scouting knowledge, and you'll start to see all kinds of decent youngsters pop up on free's. Other than that, as said...
In previous games he was almost always available for free after about 3/4 seasons (whenever his contract ran out), he'd spend most of that time on the transfer list, but nobody else could afford his wages. Maybe FM have rectified this but getting City to give him the sack.
On a related note...
Depends what kind of game you prefer, if you like struggling to build a team, select a low league and look at the media predictions/finances and pick a team that is predicted to do badly in that league (if its a really poor league it's usually fairly easy to make this team compete near the top...
I noticed that problem while managing the u21's, realistically if at 20 you are on the fringes of a team in the Sammarinese Campiato (SP?) are you ever gonna get the chance to play for Italy....stupid kids!
