Skins Football Manager 26 - 250% Speed Up Patch V3.1

Introduction:
After I found myself cursing at the game in the Beta, I released a "patch" speeding up the Football Manager 26 UI by 200-250%!

After applying this patch, the UI feels super snappy and responsive. The squad tab looks like it might under a different section, but still a huge speed up and will make your game much nicer on the eye in 99% of the cases. It has the most effect on lower cost hardware as it removes transition animations.
Due to the fact Mac uses a slightly different layout you could see a few issues. Feel free to report them!

Step 1. Extract the Files​

After downloading the patch, extract the archive. Inside, you will find the following files:

• ui-panelids_assets_all.bundle
• ui-match_assets_all.bundle

Step 2. Locate Your Game Directory​

Depending on your platform and version, the game’s installation folder can be found in different locations.

1. Windows (Steam and Epic Games):
   • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64\
   • C:\Program Files\Epic Games\FootballManager26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64\
2. macOS (Steam):
   1. ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 26/fm.app/Contents/Resources/Data/StreamingAssets/aa/StandaloneOSX/
   2. ~/Library/Application Support/Epic/FootballManager26/fm.app/Contents/Resources/Data/StreamingAssets/aa/StandaloneOSX/
3. Windows Store / Game Pass:
   1. C:\XboxGames\Football Manager 2026\Content\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64
   2. If you installed the game elsewhere, you can right-click Football Manager 26 in the Xbox app, select “Manage,” go to the “Files” tab, and click “Browse” to locate the correct folder.

Step 3. Back Up the Original Files
Before replacing anything, make a backup of the original bundle files.
Copy the following files from your game folder to a safe location (for example, a folder on your desktop named “FM26 Backup”):

Rename example:

• ui-panelids_assets_all.bak.bundle
• ui-match_assets_all.bak.bundle

Step 4. Replace the Files

Copy the new bundle files from the extracted patch folder and paste them into your Football Manager 26 directory.
When prompted, confirm that you want to overwrite or replace the existing files.

Step 5. Launch the Game​

Start Football Manager 26. The new UI patch should now be active.
If you encounter any visual issues or prefer to revert to the original look, simply restore your backed-up files.
