I kid you naught. I'm going to keep this short so that I don't waste your time.

I scored 150 goals last season, in the league alone, with my Malaga team. Now the only reason I signed up for this forum is to share this tactic, and the only reason I am sharing this tactic is because I have pity on those who have yet to experience the goalscoring power of it. I thank the FM gods that I chanced upon this tactic on a random korean site. But I warn you, do not tinker with the tactic to much, or else it won't work as well.

I don't have a picture of my stats with Malaga (uninstalled FM 11 a while ago) but I do have a pic of how it's been working with my chelsea save in FM 12 (I'm only a few games in). At first I was sceptical if it would work well in 12, but, as the picture shows, I have averaged 4.2 goals a game, so I'm not complaining ;)

So basically it is a 4-4-2 with advanced wingers, however it is the team instructions and player instructions that set this apart from normal attacking 4-4-2's. But instead of elaborating on the formation and wasting everybody's time, I will go straight to the kind of players you need in each position.

What you will need: A team with a fair amount of money and/or a team with pacy, good wingers and at least one good striker.

GK: In general, just a good keeper who won't leak many goals.

Important stats: Reflexes, Rushing Out, Communication, Command of Area, etc.
Players like: Neuer, Cech, Casillas

LB/RB: Because the wing backs are so attacking in this formation, expect to see them rack up some serious numbers in the assists department. However, since they are so attacking it is especially important that they have pace, to get back in time, and stamina. They also need to be good at crossing, since the wingers will often pass the ball back for them to cross in.

Important stats: Pace, Stamina, Crossing
Players like: Rafael, Cassani, Bosingwa, Cole, Ramos

CB's: The CB's are very important to this tactic. They, especially, need to be great all around in order for you not to leak goals. With this formation you will find that your team keeps possession of the ball well, and if they lose it, they often get it back almost immidietly. The reason for this is the CB's. Because this formation uses a high defensive line, the CB's come pretty high up the pitch. Thus, when the opponent receives the ball, they often try to hoof it up the field to clear it. What your CB's do is, because they are so far up the field, head it right back into the opponent's zone. This makes it much harder for the opponent to clear its area, and ends up producing many goals. Having said that, your CB's obviously then must have high numbers in jumping and heading.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When you use the formation you will see that one defender is set as central defender : cover. It is important that you put your defender with the best heading and jumping stats in that position. Put your best all round defender there, but only if he has heading and jumping skills that are 15+ in both areas.

Important stats: Jumping, Heading, Tackling, Marking, Stamina, Pace
Players like: I highly recommend Hummels, Terry, Vidic, Phil Jones (when he gets a bit better)

The CM's: Your CM's are important because they link the defense with the offense. They will, at least the box to box midfielder will, score goals as well. They need to have high stats in passing, obviously as well as first touch, because if they have bad first touch they will give the ball away often. Stamina and decisions are also important so that they do not get too tired and that they make good passes to the right people. Teamwork is also crucial.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You will see that the CM's are set to BBM (Box to Box): Support and AP (advanced playmaker): support. MAKE SURE that your best attacking midfielder is in the bbm space, and that your other good midfielder, with less stamina, finishing ability and dribbling is in the AP role. If you are still confused who to put where, just look at your assistant manager's player report. Also, for the bbm role, make sure it is a midfielder who is also fairly physical, like Pastore.

Important stats: (BBM) First touch, dribbling, passing, Physical stats in general, stamina, decisions.
(AP) First touch, passing, stamina, decisions.
Players like: (BBM) Pastore (though you will have to train him in that position or, like I did, use FMRTE. He is perfect for the BBM role, though) Lampard, Modric should be bad either.
(AP) Ganso (best player I have found for this position) Elano, basically anyone who is similar in stats to Ganso ;)

AML/AMR: Basically, your wingers need to be pacy and good at crossing. They should also be good at finishing as they will also get/create tones of CCC's and just chances in general, considering that they are Inside Forwards. They need to have high stamina so that they don't get to tired. It also helps if they are fairly physical, or at least one of them. If you don't know which winger to

Important stats: Pace, Dribbling, Crossing, Finishing, Stamina, Strength, Off the ball, Acceleration, Passing, etc.
Players like: Hulk, Juan Mata, Gervinho, Arshavin, Young etc. (I would highly recommend Hulk and Juan Mata, as they were part of my Malaga team, and both scored over 35 goals and got at least 30 assists)

Strikers: For this tactic to work, you must be very particular with the strikers. The striker in the poaching role will get the most goals in the team. In my malaga save, my poaching striker ended the season with 60+ goals. Yes, I kid you naught. The five MOST IMPORTANT stats for the poacher are (in this order): Finishing, Dribbling, Pace, Work Rate and Determination. If your poacher has those 5 traits all down, you are set. If you can get a striker with 16-17 finishing, dribbling, pace, work rate and determination, I can practically promise you he will have at least 40+ goals (as long as you follow all my instructions) As for the Advanced forward, he is not very important. Just make sure he is someone who will pass the ball off to your poacher and will score a few as well. He will probably score anywhere from 20-40 goals.

Important stats: (P) Finishing, Dribbling, Pace, Work Rate and Determination. He does not need to be good at everything. He is more of a specialist, in a sense.
(AF) Work Rate, Pace, Teamwork, Dribbling, Finishing. Make sure your AF is an average/good all round player
Players like: Fernando Torres (Though he is probably impossible to sign unless you are city, he is easily the best striker in the game and can easily hit the 50 goal mark. He has scored 28 goals in 11 games for me in another save, before that save somehow got corrupted.) What I would do is create a search filter from Torres and go from there.

EDIT: Match Preparation: Put to very high and no specific focus.

Opposition instructions: Leave to your assistant manager, if he is attacking. If not, then to another attacking coach.

You can ask me if you have any questions. Here is the tactic as well as a picture of the results so far with my chelsea team:View attachment 206242View attachment 206243

EDIT: Played two more games. Tied with west brom 1-1 (solely due to their keeper who probably had one of the best games I have ever seen a keeper have, stopping some 13 shots on target.) I then beat Transapor 5-1

Just got my saved Malaga game back. I actually scored 150 goals, with 100 points.

Couldn't take a picture because something is messed up with my print screen. But my results included a 11-0 vs Osasuna, an 8-0 vs Malloraca, 7-1 vs Villarreal, 7-0 vs Real Zaragoza, another 7-0 vs Zaragoza, a 7-0 vs Espanyol, 4-0 vs Barcelona, as well as countless 6-0's and 5-0's.

I only scored more than three goals in all but 9 games in all competitions.

EDIT: Unbeaten in 50 games.

Im not going to lie, your tactic seems sound, but all of your postions say you require nueur ashly cole mata torres ectra, im sure with a team of stars like that i could manage 138 with my tactic..

and on fm11 140 goals a season with barca was hard not to acheive , have you tried this tactic with a mid table team? or low league team?

@InValide, sure, I did try the tactic with some great players and great teams, but this has worked great for me even with small teams. Try it yourself with a small team.

Also, note that I scored 150 goals. I haven't seen anyone do that, even with barca, who would still be much a better team.

Even so, Barca is still a better team. I would like to see whoever did that, if they could score 150 without xavi and iniesta, whilst have a random russian striker as their main man.

And I repeat, this tactic has worked even with small teams. You don't need a star studded line-up to be hammering teams 5-0.

Thanks, Glad it's working for you so far.

I think more people need to try it instead of questioning who he had in his team....

I agree. Especially as those results are irellevant in the first place, the save being from FM11 :D

With this said, you either try the tactic or you dont.

A small tip for the TS though: Perhaps not shout out loud in the thread name that you have scord X numbers of goals when its not in this years edition you have done so.

iv managed to play a couple o games, i play a save at work with my mate, its very very attacking, i use only commentary, so i cant say what it looks like, but from the commentary, i attack attack attack, quite exciting, tho u miss so many chances its annoying, tho you just know your going to score, oh and fullbacks attack alot, realy cool, if this is for fm11 then im gutted iv uninstalled it lol

You are scoring 138 goals a season because you are using FMRTE. Should have removed it from the screenshot, derp! Well done cheater.

FMRTE? Is that an editing tool?

Yes, its the same tactic that has been uploaded before and if the screens from the Malaga save was uploaded, they would be the same to as in FM11 and obviusly the same save and the same cheat. Only, when users tried the tactic without cheating in FM11, it actually worked for them.

FMRTE aside, for a huge scoring tactic, in your only screenshot you beat 3 teams that aren't exactly title contenders and drew to WBA... with chelsea... this whole thread smells of fail

my thinking as well, did not want to come across as an ******* though!
