Steve McClaren was rushed this morning to the Queen's Medical Center after falling down the stairs of his home in Nottingham. Apparently the former England boss was on the way to his first training session since becoming the manager at the City Ground when he fell down the stairs in his home. Although he has not sustained any serious injury, the doctors have advised McClaren to stay away form football for at least six months and to stay at home resting. McClaren has said "he is disappointed this has happened to him" and that "he will do as the doctor told him to do because when it comes to health, doctors know best".
Nigel has told BBC Sport that "he his disappointed that this has happened to the Forest manager and hopes he gets well soon". He also added that "he has already found a temporally replacement". BBC Sport believes that the favorites are Billy Davies, Nigel Clough, Stuart Pearce, Roy Keane and Martin O'Neill.
