I kind of like stories more when the manager is not a compleate smart ***, and wins all their matches accept a couple, just to make people think they are not using wonder tactic. Good luck with this and I can see you reaching that last playoff place...

Good story m8, I am currently Consett, started in the northern league devision 1, and now in league 1 on track for the championship!, Just bought my first player for 40k also haha! in season 2017! Never had so much fun on football manager!

Blyth go out on the Second round after a hammering by the League 1 side.

An okay month for the lads. Some good points on the league and its nice to see that Brayson and Dale are almost ready to join up with the squad again.

During the month Blyth decided to splash some spare cash. Cypriot youngster Andreas Chatziantonis signed from Waltham Abbey for £5k. Hopefully Andreas will be in the 1st team as he is only 17.

Blyth aslo signed another 2 defenders to replace the departed Harrison. Chris Nunn signed on a free transfer after being without a club since 2002/03 season with Charlton. And Daniel Leadbitter from Newcastle has signed for 3 months on loan.

Another defeat for Spartans. Could there positon in the league be seriously be effected.

Worst month so far for Blyth as they only record one win. Something really needs to be sorted.

Blyth Spartans have been unable to score lots of goals without Robert Dale being injured so manager Michael Soulsby has spent more money on another player. Striker Adam Warlow has joined Spartans for £2.5 k from rivals Fleetwood. He will be able to play in the first game of January.

Rumors are going around the North East that Blyth's board are trying to find a local team withing to let them take a few loanies as they are seemingly struggling at the moment in their league.

I had a feeling you were gonna do another story with Blyth :p

Good luck mate and nice layout, might have to steal it ;)

January 2010 !!
Transfer News
Manager Michael Soulsby has now had 6 months incharge and has been experimenting with the players and has had a huge clear out. He has realesed 8 players in total. These are the unlucky players who were shown the door.

Josh Gillies, Kenny Boyle, Ian Graham, Paul Brayson, Richard Forster, Adrian Webster, Stephan Turnbull and Craig Turns.

With departures, there will be gaps within the squad so Soulsby has signed up new players.

Adam Warlow - Fleetwood - £2.5 k - Striker
Yvan Tomatula - Free Agent - Attacking Mid
Marc Walton - Free Agent - Striker

Spartans have completley been stolen a game from a fluke goal from Vaughan. GRRRRR

Through out the month, player numbers have been very low, so low that the under 18's needed to start and fill benches. But most are almost back.

Blyth Spartans have sent in requests to two players avalible for loan. Grimsby's Peter Bore and Darlington's Matt Plummer have been rumored interested in going out on loan.

Also in the league it looks like it could go down to the last day as it shows on the screenie.
