Quality player (though he is a Morrocco international, not Egyptian.) Remember him at Tottenham and always wanted him to get a chance in the first team. He was close until he got injured and had a brilliant pre-season in one of his years at Spurs. Looked really good. I see a lot of similarities with the current situation of Giovanni. Good buy for Ajax.
 
I'm sure the many Ajax and Moroccan supporters on this website will be over the moon, but for me I have no idea who this guy is and it isn't particularly breaking news.
 
He scored a lot of goals for Az Alkmaar in their league winning season, not sure about last season, but must have been good for this price

Not sure Fernando Torres would/should transfer to Manchester United.Controversy will spark,especially since him and Nemanja Vidic have a slight hatred of each other's presence.
 
Suppose you were half right on the title, they also signed Mido who is an Egyptian!
