Just wondering if this has happened to anybody else's assistant.
I'm managing Huddersfield and we're doing well but in December we suddenly lost form and dropped from 2nd to 7th in the table. I was struggling to motivate the team as I was using Sunday League past xp and had been in fights with most of them throughout the season.
After a couple of signings in January I holidayed 1 month. When I came back we had went on a 8 game win streak including victories against Leeds and Fulham in the FA Cup and we were now top of the table. As well as that the players morale had shot up and then my amazing assistant manager was given Manager of the Month!
