BBC Sport - Barcelona's Pep Guardiola 'on brink of leaving club'
Massive news.
Any thoughts on what he'll do next, and who the next manager will be?

He will be a nobody without that team
Best example of this is SAF, there are better top tacticians, there are better top transfer men, there are better top youth spotter. But very few managers have all this rolled into one package at a consistently high level.I agree with Mike but atleast at his next club we will see how good he actually is.
Maybe Pepe is thinking the Spanish national job could possible become available after the euro's?? Only a thort

Arsene Wenger is in the run in for the Barcelona job, lets see how loyal he really is.
No, he said back in 2011 he was going to leave Barcelona and then take a break before trying at another club. I think he always from the start had in mind to test his management in the Premier League, which is admirable because he is a man who wants to prove himself even more, although he had virtually everything at Barcelona and could of stayed there.

Pep isn't some godly coach, but he is also better than his detractors make out, namely because they ignore the work he did in the reserves etc. Will he win 15 trophies at his next club? No. Anyone who expects that is crazy, Barcelona was a perfect storm, and even that wasn't sustainable. But the next side will be his true acid test, and what takes him from a good coach to a great one.
Absolute garbage. Never heard so much **** in such a short sentence.
Wherever he goes, he'll be just as successful. Two champions league titles in four seasons is quite a stunning achievement by anyones book, regardless of what players are there. And he also has age on his side, so he'll have so much time to achieve so much more. He has an outstanding future ahead of him. Simple as.
Well that's a load of rot, for a start. Considering what he has achieved in 3 years, and before that since he was the youth and reserve team coach, helping some of the current player emerge, and the new talent emerging as he leaves, he will certainly be more than nothing. There are a fair few parallels there with Saachi. Considering Chelsea already wanted him, and that he has already been tipped as one of SAF's successors, he's already far from a nobody without that side.
Did i touch something that it hurts?
Im not taking the credit of what he did, im just saying that he will not achieve half in the future because he's too immerse in the Barça philosophy. The same as Messi. Great player, no doubt, but without Xavi he simply cant achieve what he have right now. Just look at him playing for Argentina.
To be great you need to achieve chalenging things in diferent enviroments, like Trapattoni, or as many poeple says here in the forum "to manage Barcelona and win is no big deal"
