Welcome to Barclays Premier League, the most powerful championship in the world. A new season is on the way of beginning and it appears to be more competitive than ever! There are four spots that brings the teams into the glorious Champions League and two or more spots that lets the teams fight in a competitive Europa League.
As we going to the bottom, the fierce battle continues, as this time, there are three spots that need to be avoided and not to get relegated.
This season, we have no more than six teams appealing to the top four positions: Manchester United, the champions of the last year, that are also looking in defending their title, Manchester City, the big-money spenders, with a competitive team, but not fully gelled, Chelsea F.C., looking to win silverware under the command of their new manager, Villas-Boas, Arsenal F.C., Wenger's side that always keep battling for the top spot, hungry for silver, also known for the beautiful passing game that they are practicing, Liverpool F.C., a totally re-constructed team, under the command of the legendary Daglish and Tottenham Hotspur, Redknapp's side that have produced a lot of nice surprises in the last year, in Champions League.
The candidats for relegation may rise, as it depends on the form of a team, or about the financial situation, etc.
But, in the start of the season, we can see several teams battling for surviving: Swansea City, a new promoted team through N-Power Championship Play-offs, practicing a nice football, Norwich City, quite a surprise, as they just promoted back in Championship two years ago and promoted in Premier League last year, Queens Park Rangers, probably the richest team comparing to the other relegation candidates, Wolverhampton Wanderers, a team who struggled hard to play a nice football, Wigan Athletic, fighting for several years yet to survive and probably Blackburn Rovers.
It will be a tough fight for the crown and at the end of the season, only one team will be winner out there. But who will be that one?
It is less than a month until the kick-off of the first match of this season.
