Today Bolton wanderers have announced that they will replace current manager Owen Coyle with former Crowd Favourite Jay Jay Okocha as manager. Some Critics may seem this as a big gamble for thew side expected to fight hard against relegation as it is okochas first job in management. New manager okocha has stated that he not only wants to to steer his team away from relegation but to do it skilfully and play nice attractive attacking football that the Bolton fans deserve.

The club regained top-flight status in 1995 after a 15 year absence; their current spell in the top division started in 2001. In 2005–06 they participated in European competition for the first time, reaching the last 32 of the UEFA Cup. Bolton qualified for the 2007–08 tournament by finishing 7th in the 2006–07 Premier League season and this time they managed to reach the last 16 of the competition. Bolton Wanderers moved to the Reebok Stadium in 1997. Their former home was Burnden Park here they played for 102 years until relocating to the Reebok Stadium.Bolton have spent the highest number of seasons in the top flight without winning the title (the 2008–09 season was their 70th in the top flight). Many also believed that they had theior best spell in the primership under manager sam allerdyce as many recognised them as a hard fighting team with quality to take it down and play it aswell.

Just a few days after taaking the helm at the reebok okocha has started whealing and dealing, he has let centre back paul robinson go out on loan to sunderland until the end of the season and has sold johan elmander to lyon for around 4.3 million.

The pplayers in are John fleck from rangers on loan. the young scotish striker is beileved to be hotly tipped to achieve big things in scotland and manager okocha has seen this and snapped the player up on loan.
