Has anyone developed or used a successful tactic using a long ball counter attacking style? I want to try it with Fulham after just getting the job

you could, but i'm not sure how successful it would be. i don't think there's any need to, to be honest. just start with a counter attacking tactic, pack the midfield, assign different roles to each of your midfielders. Else, play a deep 4-2-2-2 and have two anchor men. change the passing style to "more direct" and that's about as long-ball as you can possibly get :D

Deep 4222 argh! I hate it when teams play like that!

exactly ^^^ because its effective against teams that are better than you, if you have quality defensive midfielders.
