Decent Subs in the Gordie Toon?

Well I just want to ask as Ryan and Steven Taylor are given to be as fairly good players, but have pretty nice stats should I keep' em as subs. I am thinking of doing exactly that and what do you have of Patrick Van Aanholt..he is too given as a fairly good player?
