fairway Tyres, A team that has been formed to dig up the forgotten ashes of hertfordshire. With a team like this, FA Decided to put this new team into the Coca Cola League 2 . with so little time , We had to propose our kits, Andymcg44 Helped me out here didnt ya mate , Some brilliant kits for the new team.

Some new players decided to take the trials , Marvin bennett, One of the players that took a shine to the new team, with the League starting against Torquay United at home, In Middleton park, our pre season friendlies were a hurry, but we managed to gel together and beat 2 of our opponents, Stevenage United 2-1 and Scarborough athletic 3-0, against Macclesfield, we only managed to draw, 1-1, with the first game upcoming, ill keep you posted on our next games. Lets bring The Dream! C'MON FAIRWAY UNITED !!!

First game of the season for the newcomers, and by word, was there a massive crowd, Everyone from hetfordshire showed up to watch the newly formed team. They Started off in Great fashion, With Andy Mullins Grabbing The First goal For Fairway's. In The 43rd Minute, Torquay Smashed a stunner into the top corner, there Was No Chance For Brian Simmonds. Throughout The Seconds half, Fairway Utd Looked the Much stronger Side, And With 5 Minutes to go, Grabbed Home The Winner, A beautiful run from the central Defender - Marvin Bennet - who cleared a shot off the goaline, and making a run down the center, Joe Sayers Put In A fabulous cross, And It was Volleyed Home. Great First game For Fairways, lets Keep Up the Good Work!
