It's January. I have two CBs, an AML, an AMC and a ST who have signed for other clubs and will leave once the season has come to an end. Although they were a main part of the clubs' first titles ever, they aren't needed anymore. I only used the CBs, the AMC and the ST as substitutes, so replacing them won't be difficult. But what should I do until they leave? Relegate them to the reserves? Have them unused, as some kind of revenge?

Maybe try and loan them out to your feeder clubs for the rest of the season if possible?

I'd keep using them as you are, they aren't integral but it would harm you to have weaker substitutes maybe?

Well, if they have caused a big stink and argued with me all year, I drop them to reserve.

But if I sold them or didn't re-sign them, I won't punish them.

I have dropped them to the reserves and promoted some youngsters to the main squad. Thanks for your answers!

1) place them in reserve
2) put them in goal keeper training
3) set them to high train on useless individual training attribute. i.e. striker - focus on marking. cb -focus on crossing and etc.
4) let them to train on useless preferred moves.

In the end hope their stats will drop when he join another clubs.. =)
