FMRTE - Important Matches Rating - Which matches are important?

Ok, so as you can see from the title, I'm wondering if anyone knows which matches are considered the "important" ones so that I can bench players who suck in the big games. Would that be all cup games? Or just the final? What about if you are in the Premiere League, or any first division league? Would that make all the league games "important", or only when you play teams team the top of the table? Or how about when you play teams with reputations at or higher than yours? What about the group games or Euro or Champions cup? What does the software use to determine "important"? Many thanks for your input. Cheers.

If you look at a teams information screen you can see a media prediction of where they are predicted to finish in the league, so lets say your a team predicted to finish fourth ,in the last champions league spot, a big game would be playing the teams who are predicted to be around that area of the table e.g. 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th because you are fighting with these teams to get the fourth spot you want or even push the teams that are predicted higher than you back and take 3rd or 2nd place. this same principle will apply for teams at the bottom of the table, if you are predicted to finish 18th your big games will be against teams predicted to finish 20th 19th 17th 16th 15th because these are the teams you need to beat to have a chance of survival. as for europe every game would be important because you need to get results or your out. also cup finals and derby games would class as important matches.
