Improvement over Gomes and Cudicini imo..
 
I don’t understand this at all, what a waste of wages. He looked well beyond his best last year; he looked immobile a lot of the time.

Debatable, and will be 42 years old when his contract expires.

I personally think both Gomes and Cudicini have more to offer. Gomes is a better shot-stopper, and Cudicini is more reliable nowadays.

Debatable, yes. Cudicini is not younger either and Gomes looked very shaky.

Maybe 1 or 2 good years from him before going for good keeper, ..
 
Lot's of good young keepers appear to be for sale this summer. Adler, Neuer, De Gea, Stekelenburg, Rui Patricio etc. Even Kuszcak (I'm assuming he will be leaving OT) is a better option than Friedel imo.

Going for a 40 year old appears to make no sense.
 
Shame, would have liked to have seen him back at Anfield. We offered him a year contract with an option to stay on as a goalkeeping coach apparently. Suppose he'll get more game time at Spurs though.
 
Still a wonderful player, kept us in it at times last season. Thanks for the memories Brad, one of MONs better buys. Prem legend.
 
I think Villa will gor for foster tbh. To replace Brad. The man spurs should of moved for.
 
Great goalkeeper but you have to ask surely he knows he is going to get first team football other wise he wouldnt have moved to Spurs.

I'm guessing thats why he took the Spurs move, probably still in a hole
