Gamertag help

I've seen people on the site with their xbox live gamertags on thier forum signatures and I was wondering how to get mine in, I went on my gamercard .net and get mine but I dont know how to get it on becasue it says invalid file when I try to save it.
Does anyone know how to upload it?

What did you save it as, .gif, .bmp etc
try saving it as .png that always works for me then just go to tinypic.com then press browse, click the image, hit upload now, then it comes up some codes, copy the code which has on top of it "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards", go to user cp and then edit signature and paste the code there!

Now it should be done!

Just put in your gamertag & choose the style and click on Generate Code. Choose Forums (Image) and the copy that code into your signature
