Good Central Midfielder for £3-4 million?

I've started a new season with Birmingham city and have found that the only decent central midfielder that we have is Barry Ferguson.
I am in desperate search to find a decent central partner for him. I signed Sunny for £1,000,000 but he got injured on his debut so can't make a decision.
