nowadays CLUB OWNERS play a BIG PART in the clubs' growth/decline, pompey were prospering once until the owner (gaydamak) refused to pump in any more $$, forcing the club to sell stars and losing redknapp as well. it is indeed kind of sad to see how a potentially strong team goes downhill, isn it?
