How do you create the striker dropping back in between the defence and midfield?

I know the obvious is to bring the mentality right back and take forward runs off, but that makes him useless. I've used variations with mentality right up top to half way down and it doesn't seem to make much difference apart from seemingly making him play more backwards passes. Alfaro plays for Swansea in my current game and he's awesome. He drops into the space between the midfield and defence but also makes runs in behind too. He's soooo hard to pick up...

Has anyone had any success creating this?

Its mostly about the ppms, comes deep to get ball is the main trigger.

ah k...so you can't over ride that? Is creative freedom linked to ppm's? If I take the CF right off would this negate his ppm's?

I should explain that last post lol he has 'beat offside trap' in his ppm's

No, not entirely. I am a bit confused though,I thought you wanted him to ?

EDIT: aha ok, then this player will never get deep, sorry, unless you unlearn and relearn the ppms

lol That sucks, I just taught him that but then saw how alfaro was playing :p Thank you
