How do you sucsefully retrain players in different positions?

I was wondering how you can retrain players in different positions, for example i have Mascio who is filling in for Alexis Sanchez scored 2 on his debut but hes down as a Cm and when i play him at AMR he strugles so how can i train to play there, btw his stats are quite suited to him playing there.

Go to the training menu for the player. Select the position you want to retrain him in from there. It won't always work well though - how quickly and how well the position is learnt is based on the player's age and versatility.

I had Gabriel Torje i play him RM which was dark green, he spent two seasons on RM instead AMR and now RM is his favourtie position

I've noticed that Mascio is no longer availeble in the game in 9.3.0. He is gone...
