How far backs to do fans remember?

Im playing as Dinamo and at the end of the 2nd season my star centre back, Tonel, left on a free to Besiktas as he refused to negotiate a new contract. He was getting on a bit and only probably had one or two decent seasons left in him but the fans are pretty ****** as he was a club icon and the board wasn't best pleased either.

I've brought in new, younger players who have the potential to be better than him on loan (with a view to buy) deals. Im doing pretty well so far in the league and Champions League, but how long before the fans stop being angry? Is there a certain period of time which, once passed, the fans forget about stuff?

I normally find that a season is enough, especially if it's a decent one.

Sometimes as little as until the next transfer window, all depends on form and league position etc. Just keep checking with the board, as soon as it disappears on there they'll have forgotten
