Joining a Network Game

Me and my friend are trying to start a network game with each other but are encountering a problem oO)

Yes we have:
ticked the 'run as server' box (host)
used Hamachi and used the hosts IP it supplies

However, the problem is when (on FM patch 11.1.1 - both on the same patch) clicking 'join other server' and typing in the host's network IP nothing happens; can't continue, add game or anything - DOESN'T say cannot connect to server though :S It does however say under recent server the Network IP the user joining just used so it must of connected?

Where are we going wrong?

i dont know then thats what i did with my frend and it worked pefectly

I had that problem last year, try downloading the old version of hamachi. That worked for me
