Is Ryan Giggs the Manager on the front cover of the Fm Series?

As the title says, I want to get the answer... what do you think?

tip: look at the ears, they are the same....

For the record, and to get in early - I fail to see how anyone can think it's Ryan Giggs.

a) One would imagine Ryan Giggs has better things to do than pose for Football games, and he certainly doesn't need the money
b) It would be known, SI wouldn't splash out for RG and then hide it and keep it a secret, it'd be a waste of money
c) Totally looks nothing like him bro
 
I think it looks like him. The stubble the ears. There's at least a slight resemblance, don't see how anyone can say looks nothing like him.

I'll give you the ears, but the mouth isn't his. Maybe it's Ryan Giggs and Peter Beardsley's love child!
 
There's a definite resemblance with the ears and stubbly chin. However I don't think it is him :P but if it is him.. and he becomes a manager.. people will be expecting a lot from him now ;)

a) dude, it would take a couple of hours to pose for this photo :) I am sure he has the time (also why would you NOT want to be on the cover of Fm11)

b) no one has really asked nor made a fuss out of it, so why do they feel the need to make it known, maybe it is a Stig type deal like in Top Gear (said that on another thread)

c) yes it does
 
His ear and his facial hair does look the same....but I agree what tubby said. If he's Giggs, SI should of blown the whole secret out.
 
Giggs stubble goes up to his bottem lip in the middle.

The guy on the covers doesnt seem to ;)
 
Dangerously close to sounding incredibly nerdy, however there is a big flaw.

You can tell that the FM guy has a more squared chin when Giggs doesn't.
 
This is hard because it can't really be proved either way but I know it's not. Look at it, it's not him. Why would it be? Maybe it's just me but none of this makes sense at all for it to be Ryan Giggs. If you had Ryan Giggs on the front of your football game, you'd show him - you have a football legend on your game, you wouldn't half obscure his face, not tell anyone and have no mention of it anywhere. Also wouldn't RG have to be credited on the box?

It simply isn't him, it's not how things work. There are imaging rights and all sorts, easter eggs like this don't stay secret.
 
It does look like him, but I dont think it his him personally.

The stubbly bit looks more like Pep Guardiola.

I dont think it is, but then again Raikon might of just nailed it on the head if it is a stig situtation!!

If it cant be proved either way, how do you KNOW its not him? You just contradicted yourself. Although I agree it isn't him.

...because I know it's not him I just can't prove it? All the evidence tells me that it's not him, I know it's him, I just can't provide 100% undeniable proof to convince everyone else.

So no, I didn't contradict myself.

Just because he has stubble doesn't mean its Ryan Giggs.

In other news, I love the tie the guy is wearing and want to know where it's from.
