is there a way to cancel a pre-contract agreement?

hi,
basically in jan i signed a couple players who had less than 6 months left on their contracts & now (im in may) want to cancel the deals i signed with them. is there a way? this is a really stupid question i know but im annoyed by signing these players, who im expecting to be rubbish!
