James McCarthy

I am using LFC Marshalls Update and have started a game as Man Utd. I'm looking at James McCarthy from Wigan. At the minute my scouts say he can be as good as, if not better than Anderson. I have signed Ganso and Thiago Alcantara who will be involved in my first team and for the future Julien Draxler from Schalke and Jorge Enriquez from Chivas.

Do you think McCarthy would fit in my team...

If not who would preferably British.

Tom Cairney could be an alternative to McCarthy and I think he would be more suited and would give you more balance in your midfield

Tom Cairney. But in case you're looking for a more defensive alternative-then McCarthy's better, although much costlier. But since you already have Alcantara and Ganso, I would rather look at backups to them like Fabian Delph, Junior Stanislas or something.

Tom Cairney is an option but like Fran said is more of an attacking player. Delph is another option. Anyone know how good he becomes?
