Live - Sunday football

Anybody else think maybe if Ledley King never had his fitness problems, Spurs season may have been different? Imo he's a quality defender, and if he was always fit, imo he'd be a 100 cap player
 
Would not be surprised if Grant gets sacked. It was like he told them to sit back for the second half and not the first time WHU have thrown away a comfortable lead this season either. Hopefully they get promoted straight back up to the prem.

Easily. King is back and Spurs kept clean sheet at Anfield. Such a quality player. King-Dawson CB pairing would be excellent and Spurs would have done lot better than this..

TBH mate, if he didn't have knee problems he probably wouldn't be playing for us. Best centre half in england when fit.

Fair play. Webb was his usual self but that's not taking anything away from Tottenham. As you say a deserved win.
 
Just got back, Howard Webb is a disgrace to the game. Was never a penalty, it was a shoulder charge, and nothing went our way. But, we didn't really perform well enough and Modric was truly amazing, it will be very hard to keep hold of him in the summer.
 
Even when 2 nil up, I knew we wouldn't win.

Avram grant resign now, otherwise next sunday will be the worse day of your life. 90 minutes of pure abuse! hahaha mug

Nevermind, good to go down, get rid of all our ****, kovac, spector, bridge, keane, hines etc.. and losing our best players. Replace them with good championship players, and our fans will get us over the line next season. We'll be back, stopping off at the den on the way.. We are West Ham's claret and blue army!!

I doubt Noble will leave, and if so your team should be built around him.

If Grant goes, the next managerial appointment is going to be the most important decision the laughing stock of a board will make for the club, bearing in mind whats on the horizon for the club. If they want a quality manager to get them back up, they should take a look at Houghton imo. Probably won't go there, but should at least try to get someone of his caliber

lots of teams have said that before. its not that easy. you have a gaping hole in your finances, and you will lose most of you best players, you find it difficult to get the best championship players becuase they will be looking to go back up with their clubs. West ham have a hard road ahead

Sadly for West-Ham, they've looked dead pretty much all season. No passion, No Hunger and No Care. Everytime they've got a lead, they blow it. Such a big chance to stay up today, when they had it at 2-0, but they let Wigan in through the back-door. Its clear Avram Grant is not a motivator, he's not the type of manager who will give inspiriational team-talks, training sessions and roll his sleeves up for a relegation fight... There's enough quality in that side to stay up, but sadly they have failed badly.
 
Valid point of course, but we can attract the big players in the championship. The board will appoint CHRIS HUGHTON. Been at the last few home games, and knows the championship well. Our fans will get us there my friend. Our youths will come up, we will be a big fish in a small pond next year.

They should try to keep Jack Collison, and build a team around him. Think he's an excellent player
