Main Aim for the season:
Winning trophie, multiple trophies
Starting 11:
most of the team picks it self, just a few players that some people wouldnt start would be needed.

VDS
Evra ferdinand vidiv Neville( rotate with rafeal)

Silva Anderson/carrick( box to box) Fletcher(Ball winning midfield) valencia

Berbatov( advanced forward) Rooney(deep lying forward)

Bench:
Foster
Evans
milto
backham
vargas
Carrick
Owen( when you bring him on, set him to poacher)

Backups:
everyone else left

Offload these players:
Brown, O'shea, thomas Kuzack, Hargreaves

Loan out, nani, macheda and gibson

Keep hold of these:
Tosic, Welbeck, Jonny evans

Use this tactic:

4-4-2. set the player roles to set above. also play with a high line defensive line, and very wide
change to 4-5-1 when playing away from home in big games, maybe top 4 and champs league knock outs, the set carrick to defensive midfielder in that role.
Buy these players( given general price range):

Silva--> 25-35million
Beckham--> 300-400k
Vargas--> 8-11millio
milito--> loan fee 1.3million

you can alos sign younger players for the future.

Retrain: Evans to be a: Left back

Star Player(s)

Rooney,berbatov, ferdinand

Hot prospects:

welbeck, rafeal, evans, macheda and nani

i would also recommend releasing giggs, scholes and VDS after 1 season as they are not upto it after that.

hope you enjoy this

no problem, i forgot to add.

with silva valencia play hard ball to get. you need to stick to your price and then eventually put it to non-negotiatable as they try to get like 40-50 for him.

i'm not sure i see the merit in a guide for teams like United, since they have so much talent and money it is difficult to go very wrong.
do you have guides for smaller clubs? like blue square premier or south? i would like to take staines somewhere but i am finding it difficult. i'm not sure why, when i manage sort of league 2 upwards i do alright :S

I agree with sween123 about a guide for man u, i decided to play as them to get used to the new additions added to the game and u can't really go far wrong with the players they have at there disposal and great way to get into it if you haven't played before.

Craig wtf? Seems your the only **** around here muggins. And guys, if you don't like the guide, don't read it, nobody is making you. If you want a lower league guide you'll have to wait or do it yourselves

Cheers for the guild, I've already bought Modric so hopfully he'll do the same job as Silva. I was gonna offload Berbatov and use this

Vds

Rafael Vidic Ferdinand Evra

Hargreaves
Fletcher Anderson

Valencia-----------------------Modric
Rooney

What you think?

i havent done anything like what this guide says about united as i have only just looked at this and have been playing the game for a few days which means of course i have finished the first season :)
i signed rossi in first season and after 19 (3 off bench) he had 22 goals only paid 20 for him, signed srna at right back does a solid job and got rid of nev, also signed akinfeev as replacement for vds and ben arfa to play down the wing with nani, won the league by 13 points and only lost two games all season, also won fa cup and champions league.. although got knocked out of league cup by stoke :(

people should seriously think about rossi him and rooney up top destroy it rossi finished league with 28 rooney with 32.....

nah it is not, it is one i did for another site, i think too detailed would take the fun out of the game, this is just general.

the rest of the game is for people to find out and explore there way through.
