Hi I am managing Plymouth Argyle in 2014 and we seriously need a striker.
We are currently in the premier league after surviving by the skin of our teeth. I play a 4-5-1 formation with 2 attacking wingers pumping crosses into the box.
I only have Billy Sharp, Andy Keogh and a regen called Robert Jones (but he needs more experience). Somehow Keogh and Sharp got 15 goals between them last season.

I have £10,000,000 to spend and can offer £29,000 in wages as a maximum. The main problem however is the reputation of my club. A lot of players will not start discussions....

I think your best bet might be to see if you can find any good regens who will join you. Then just give them some games for the next few seasons to help them develop.

Gabby Agbonlahor, if he is on the fringes at Villa, is always a good goalscorer for me. Play him as poacher.

Maybe try and loan a striker from one of the bigger clubs and buy a regen to train

Nolan Roux if he has not moved to better team.

Also good bet would be to check out some old (31-) strikers who have good goalscoring record, but dont get games at their currenct clubs.
