Not enough Home Grown players for CL

What should I do if the minimum number of Home Grown players needed to register for the Champions League in not met.
I have some out on loan but must respond with the selected players.

Just leave spaces, for example if you only have 4 out of the 8 HG players you need just leave 4 spaces.

do the auto select option .

Or possibly just go on holiday for 1 day and when you return the list will have been submitted.
