If you have got new kits and don't know where to put them look no further. Just got one made by a kit maker or downloaded a pack?

Go to Start then press My Documents and then press Sports Interactive then click onto Football Manager 2010 then click Graphics then press Kits then thats it and your off (you don't need the kits folder but keeps it nice and neat lol)
Also make sure you have Un-Ticked "Use Skin Cache" and Ticked "Always Reload Skin On Confirm"
If not then do this Start FM10 Go to Preferences Then Display And Sound Then
Un-Tick "Use Skin Cache"
Next Tick "Always Reload Skin On Confirm"
Simple
I made this thread to stop the amount of where do i put my Kits.
Any further questions just ask in this thread PLEASE:D

I'm sure there are other threads including these instructions.... Anyway, good idea...

On a kit request thread it usually tells you anyway?

but this will help the "Ametuers"

but some people dont get it, just to reduce the amount of where do I put kits

alright but why do people need the unique id?
and if you make a kit in photoshop, what file do you save it as, because i doubt you save it as a psd file ?

You save it as a png file, sized 160x160. People need the Unique ID so that the game can associate these images with a certain club - the club's ID is unique to that club.

Excatly you need the I.D. to make a config file to make sure it works inside the game

it puts the kits into the game for you basiclly

yes but how would you make one?

right so iv just made a kit, saved it as png 160 X 160

Have you got Arsenal's unique ID? Have you downloaded the program from the last post? If so, this is what you do:

Open up FM XML.

Browse for your kit FOLDER - not the actual kit, in thr browse bar.

Make sure the "kits" options is ticked, and click "Go!"

Then just type in Arsenal's unique ID each time, selecting home, away or third.

i have uploaded to this reply make sure you rename each kit the following
602_home
602_away
602_third

The England kits have to have 2009 on the end. Open the config file with notepad, and put this on the end:

/2009"

Save, and then check if its worked. If it doesn't, get back to me.
