Hey everyone,
I've been playing Football Manager since 07 I think. Off and on, wouldn't call myself a die-hard but when the bug bites me I get into it pretty hard.
I use Genie Scout on some saves and have actually developed a pretty comprehensive Excel sheet and VBA (code) that helps me determine the best starting lineup for a given formation (added in controls to generate the best "2nd" team too, which I often use to determine which areas of my team needs to be strengthened), so if there's any interest in that I can share the sheet, should probably make some adjustments to make it more flexible for different formations.
Anyways, came on here looking for some good tactics for 14.2.2 and found some great ones, really love the tactic-testing league.
