Ive got Abel Hernandez and Edison Cavani in my team and I want them to specialise in a shot cause theyre wasteful at times. I cant choose between shooting with power and placing shots. Should i get them to learn any other moves apart from these?

I've found 'Likes to round the keeper' as the best option for wasteful forwards.

Hernandez has just finishing learning that move but thanks.

Surprised there aren't more threads about this, I've always wanted to specialise my forwards into one of these preferred moves, but never really knew which would be best.

I'll be monitoring this thread looking for helpful replies!

theers a sticky thread on this already that i wrote in the players section

It's hard to know really. I mean, some players have terrible long shots attributes but score loads of long shots because they have the "Shoots with power thing"

guys who can shoot with power are fun to watch. Can make goalies look bad, especially at close range..

Hernández doesn't need anything. It could be the role you're playing him in.

Don't know about Cavani, never had any experience with him.

I think that these two options go for different type of forwards like:

"Places shots"-Flair,pacey,dribble forward
Aguero,Zarate,Kramaric,Muniain (i would learn the move to both of your forwards)

"Shoots with power"-Big,strong,target men that get ball a relative distance from a goal so that have to power the ball
Drogba,Dzeko,Heskey,Lukaku(you dont have to teach him,he has composure and finishing 20 after few years)

as madsheep mentioned, go through the stickie thread ;) feel free to ask anything in there, myself and themadsheep as well as other members will answer your questions...
