Players needed for Sunderland 2010/2011

Hi guys. I downloaded the 11.3 patch today and thought I should try managing a different team, so i chose Sunderland. Their squad is alright, they got some decent players like muntari, henderson, gyan and others. But they are seriously lacking in left sided players.

I have a budget of £17.5m and I am looking to buy a LB and LM. I may also need a goalkeeper due to Gordons injury that rules him out for 3 months so I only have Mignolet. I also need a striker to partner Gyan upfront.

Any suggestions??

John Arne Riise from Roma? He's about 30 but is solid! Covers both positions too. That Benfica guy who's name I always forget would be a good shout. Think its Fabio Contraeo or something. Not sure how much he would set you back though.
