Portsmouth Transfer Embargo

I got to about october in my first season with pompey when i got a mail saying an embargo had been placed on club until 1st feb 2010 with no explaination as to why (i guess same as irl)

since that message i have sold around £30m of players (utaka, kaboul diop and a couple others) all of whom were straight cash deals that went thru on 1st day of jan window, is there any way of trying to get the ban lifted or do i just have to deal with it and prob get relegated?????:@
 
is their the option to appeal like the chesea ban? as soon as you balance the books the embargo should be lifted. but if not then yeah i guess you are knakcered. better prepare for life in the championship :'(
 
there wasn't an appeal button on the mail itself. would it be anywhere else???

my cash balance is like 5 or 6m and im 98k under wage budget
 
no idea then mate. i think with chelsea u get th eoption to appeal.

can u sign free transfers/loans?
 
nah, embargo ended on last day of window, so i managed to get in 4 or 5 players to keep me going, am bout 14th tho so no doubt ill get the boot by end of season
