Champions League Group Stage Sorting Error

Just wanted to see if this is the right scenario, I feel as though I have been jipped out the group stage! Joint on points with Porto, head to head was 2-2 away and 3-3 at the lane. Then if it goes to Goal Difference, I am +10 and them +3..... Is it something to do with them scoring 3 at the lane? Any clarification would be appreciated.

1. higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;
2. superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question;

Group points the same, so you move to step 1. both games drawn so stalemate, rule 2. they scored 3 at yours, you 2 at theirs. They win and progress. Full GD isnt taken into the equation.
