This actually regards FM 2010 but there seems to be very little activity there so I thought I would be better of asking here, since i reckon most of you probably played previous versions too
I Havent played FM for that long and decided to give manchester city a go. I saw some screenshots of some managers first season transfers with city and some of them are:
28.7-09 Chiellini, Giorgo 25 million pound
28.7-09 Montolivo Riccardo 15.5 million pound
Since they have been signed at the very start of the game I rule out injuries and such as a factor so the price should be roughly the same in all saves at this time right?
But I on the other hand (tried several times, both patched and unpatched) can not get Chiellini for less than 43 million pounds or Montolivo for less then 28 million pounds. And these are just examples. I wonder how it is possible for people to get players almost twice as cheap at the start of the game than i can get them at the same time?
Edit: And Its not about negotiating, these are the minimum values they will sell them to me for
