Steam not automoatically updating? January transfers? Latest Patch?

Hey guys, whenever I load up FM12 to start a new game/save, I only have 12.0 version available. I installed my game via Steam. I was of the understanding that Steam would automatically update my game?

Does anyone know currently what the latest version available is? 12.0.4??

Also when is the next patch being released (I'm wanting the January transfers)?

And, if/why Steam isn't updating my game for me, how do I go about doing it manually?

THe patches so far havent made any database changes, meaning you can't choose a new database.

Open a save, then go to game status and check your current game version.
