As revealed by @MarkKleinmanSky, Sir Jim Ratcliffe considering lodging offer for minority stake (around 25%) in Manchester United. Would leave Glazers in control (and may not go down very well with fans).
that would be the utter P I S S take

Sheikh Jassim will not budge on the structure of his #MUFC bid. It remains ‘all or nothing’ at around £5bn. Those close to Nine Two Foundation have always stressed they won’t entertain a minority stake or any scenario in which the Glazers stay.

Nine Two Foundation sources reiterate anything Sir Jim Ratcliffe does won’t influence them. As one insider puts it, “The two bids are like apples and pears.”

Jadon #Sancho is on the verge to leave ManUtd in winter! #MUFC

A loan is more likely than a permanent deal at this stage
➡️
#BVB coach Edin #Terzic is in regular contact with Sancho as they appreciate each other very much.

Can confirm Sheikh Jassim has withdrawn from the #MUFC process following final and advanced talks. Group offered double the $3.2bn market valuation of the club and feel the Glazers valuation is outlandish.

Move comes after further talks over the past few days. Glazer family do not believe Sheikh Jassim bid meets their valuation. Sheikh Jassim believes it is the best for the club and includes $1.7bn for stadium + training ground development, wider community and bring in players.

| Sheikh Jassim made an IMPROVED OFFER for #mufc in the last few days which sources describe as an ‘increase in the hundreds of millions’ – when that was rejected, he pulled the plug. [@MikeKeegan_DM]

and the hits keep on coming the day man u died 14/10/2023 rip
Glazers will be loving this. They get around 1.5bn in the pocket with no investment into the club, with a so called chance of SJR taking over in 3 yrs when they will be hoping he pops his clogs before then. And they can keep the club.

well either way we will not have the money to do anything as long as we stay in the prem think thats all the glazers care about

It's clear who the winners are in the deal and it isn't the club, or Ratcliffe (he is a mug of the highest order to even contemplate letting the Glazers stay as majority share holders) for that matter. The only ones who gain are the two greedy weasels who see the club as a cash cow for their pockets. Whilst the Qatari offer wasn't perfect at least it would have meant the loans would have been paid off and would have given the club a clean slate financially.

| Sir Jim Ratcliffe's group will be "handed the reins" to #mufc's sporting side of the business as they seek to restore Old Trafford to its former glories. But the Glazers will have ultimate say in things as majority owners [@MikeKeegan_DM]

Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan & Co are understood to be supporting Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s bid to buy #mufc with bonds and loans beyond United’s current gross debt of over £680 million. [@TeleFootball]
