Moyes had enjoyed 11 years at Goodison Park before his controversial exit

In what has enraged many Everton fans, Bill Kenwright has sacked Scot David Moyes after he criticised his running of the merseyside club. David Moyes had openly criticised the Everton management, claming they have no interest in the club going forward - they are only in it for the money. Within hours of Moyes' departure Kenwright had announced the appointment of rookie manager Josh Malin - further supporting Moyes' claims that he was in it for the money in many fans' opinions.

I can't believe it. He sacks Moyes for criticising him for being in it for the money and then appoints someone who will most likely be on minimum wage. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic in my eyes.

It is understood that Malin has little money to rebuild, and will have to sell to bring others in. Sol Campbell is believed to be Malin's main target on a free as he looks to add experience and hold on to his key players in what will be a testing time for the blue half of Merseyside.
