Hey All…

Do any of you remember a couple of years ago one version for CM/FM had the board sign players on your behalf depending on the ambitions of the board. You would usually get a message at the start of the season saying something along the lines of “Marquee Signing” If you didn’t bring in someone that the board though worthy they would go out and sign someone else…

Does anyone still get this or has it been taken out of the game now… Quite a nifty feature probably best executed after a board takeover though?

I remeber on Fm07 it always happened to Chelsea.
Roman wanted a marquee signing, i would always sign players not deemed Marquee but class, then watch him buy a world class name. haha

Never heard of this happening, never had it happen to me and I'm 99.9% sure it's not on FM2010

i think they stopped it after fm07/8 not too sure, it was funny, roman brought me rio for 70millon one time.
