As we know Giggsy has made the most appearances for Man Utd. The challenge is can you get a player to break his record?

This is more of a sub-challenge to be done within your current save. Obviously long-term Man Utd career saves are needed. Good luck.​

i think i've done it already with Rooney .. i know he is 38 in my save and i still play him

I tried it on the same save as the one above with Dave De Gea but I got an unbelievable regen GK who demanded first team football aged 21 and I gave in. Sold Dave to Barca in the end

Gonna try this soon. Got a offer from United on my Journeyman save, but I did say if United came I'd try to beat Fergie's record. So, I'll see if I get any good youth in the intake and blood one to become the new Giggsy.

same here i thought De Gea could do it as i usually sell players when they hit 30 but found a quality Regen GK bought and he soon became my #1 ... so kept Rooney as 1 couldn't sell him 2 his assist record was too good to let go and 3 at the time i had no one else .. but at 38 now i can't see him making 41 more league app now

phil jones on mine is 32 and at 427 and he nearly played every game
chris smalling i sold after 8 season's for 19.75m to barca and he retired at 33 on mine

So, by the looks of it you'd need a regen younger than 17 to play until his very late thirties, playing over 30 league games a season. ****, hard challenge.

Even if you had a 15 year old, you'd have to play him 30 league games a season until he was 36 to get close to Giggsy.

Definitely gonna try this, when does Fergie usually retire? Not sure if I should wait for that and then take over United on my current save or just start a new game as them.

Giggs finished with 624 on my save. Rooney retired at 512 (369 goals)

You would need to start this with a 16/17 year old because when Giggs first played it was a 42 game season (though he only went 38+ once)
