ITV1 HD is coming to Virgin & Sky in April so that means over half of this summers World Cup games will be available in HD on BBC & ITV.

I know I'm happy as watching standard definition football on a HD tv is pretty awful at times.

It also means the Champions League that's shown on ITV will also be available in HD.

You lucky bastards, just one of the three channels broadcasting it here in Denmark broadcasts in HD. Then again, we shouldn't be in the tournament too long, so hopefully enjoy some of the bigger matches in HD.
