Hello,
Something I haven't came across before... in terms of training what is meant by training "unit". Would that be "defence, midfield and attacking" type of training or am I missing something. Any help would be great!

Yes that is exactly what it means.
When setting up a training session, there is a breakdown of the impact on each unit - I think Attack, Defense and GK.

So training Set-Piece / Attacking Corners for example, your Defensive Unit works on defending corners, your Attacking Unit works on Attacking Corners and your GK works on, well, Goalkeeping. Because the session involves taking corners it is essentially Attack vs Defense.

You can switch players between units, so adding a midfielder to the Defensive Unit for a week will work on his defending whilst putting him into the Attacking unit the following week will work on his offensive attributes - some players benefit from this.
