Confirmed by EFL. BUT 'Board rejected further request to relax enhanced embargo that remains in place in respect of other regulation breaches. Club will continue to be under wage restrictions on player recruitment + limited to squad of up to 23 players of ‘professional standing’.

Understand that Crystal Palace are one of several clubs interested in a permanent deal for Ozan Kabak, who was on loan at Liverpool last season. Also interest from other Premier League sides including Leicester and clubs in Germany and Spain. Schalke likely to ask for around £12m
