Undeletable desktop icon

I tried to update my FM10 ( Im a none steam user ) as direct with the game that I bought and updated via the website and now Im confronted with 2 .exe files on my desktop that I can't delete as when I go to delete them they say they are already in use and thus un - deletable ..... any ideas
